The Skin Cancer Foundation Revises Recommended Daily Intake of Vitamin D
On May 1, 2009, The Skin Cancer Foundation released an updated recommendation revising their Vitamin D recommendations. Their updated recommendation included an increase in adults from 400 to 1000 international unites of vitamin D daily. Dr. Warwick Morison, chairman of The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Photobiology Committee said that, “Based on the current data, we feel comfortable recommending this increase.”
